At The Gully our artisans assemble each piece without compromise; each piece of silver that goes into your jewelry is painstakingly shaped and finished by hand; thousands of precise details join the metal to form your unique design; the sections of the jewelry are skillfully forged by hand into your exact vision; textures, edges, and settings are meticulously polished by hand.

CONSULTATION
The bespoke process begins with a consultation. We will discuss where you will wear your jewelry, your personal tastes and your lifestyle so that we can offer the correct advice on metal, design and detail.
The process of choosing your raw silver and finish should be a pleasure. Specialising in high-grade silver, we also source precious materials from the leading suppliers of the world.
Once a design and finish have been selected, our master artisans will take your individual specifications and make precise notes on your vision.
FITTING
From this our master artisan will hand-craft an individual template which will be refined throughout the fitting process, starting off with a preliminary fitting.
A preliminary fitting is the outer shell of your jewelry. Cast or forged from your metal yet minus final detailing such as intricate stone settings and ultimate polishes, we will conduct as many fittings as is needed to ensure the perfect fit.
No detail is too small, everything is taken into account to ensure the piece will fit you perfectly, highlighting, adding and subtracting what is needed.
FINISHING
The final touches are added from engravings, stone settings, and any finishing details, all by hand.
Once your pattern has been perfected it is retained in our records for all future orders, speeding up the process for existing customers.
The making of a single piece involves up to eleven artisans and may take between 60-80 hours. Your jewelry is passed through the hands of our finest silversmiths, polishers, and setters, all to result in a beautiful bespoke creation that is built to stand the test of time.
